I received this in an email so I have posted it right here, wonderful people.

Dear Friends

Our second outing is coming up on Sunday 5th September!  Following our first outdoor meeting at the Common in June, we are now going to visit Southampton City centre.

We’ll meet up around 1.45pm at the Bargate, which is at the top of the High Street, and begin with a standing circle. Then we’ll walk along part of the old medieval walls of Southampton, to see if we can feel the history of our city, and find out if we are being asked to hold the light or raise the vibrations there.

Recently various members of the group have mentioned the bombing which took place here in the Second World War, as well as the countless other conflicts and disasters spanning the past thousand years and more.  I think there are Roman ruins at one point along the wall, if memory serves me right.

After a break and some discussion, we’ll have a short guided meditation somewhere sitting down, maybe in the ruins of Holyrood Church if it’s quiet (bring a mat?) and later we might even venture into West Quay shopping centre to test our anchoring skills!  There is no charge for outdoor sessions, but some of us might go somewhere for a tea or coffee together towards the end of the afternoon.

Karen has had a good idea which some of you might get time to prepare for:  she thought that it could help to have a sign or two saying that we are doing a silent meditation, in case people try to ask us what we are up to while we are doing it, as happened at the Common. If I get time I’ll print out some flyers about our group to give out as well.

Next month at Good Vibrations, on Sunday 3rd October, we’ll be back in the main hall at St Denys Community Centre, for what promises to be a very interesting and enjoyable introduction to Byron Katie’s Work with Karen Gibbens.

All joking apart, she is brill, gave me a quick sitting the other day and my Dad came thru, so did a long lost friend… made me smile just to know they are OK.

The crystal man visited today and I have some rather lush spheres. Also tons of stunning Navajo Turquoise, rings, earring and pendants… Mmmm yum!

When you go into a shop to look for clothes & you are ‘fat’, you find yourself 1st looking for a size that will actually fit you, it may not be the colour or style you want, but you are so grateful that you can squeeze into something, that you buy it anyway. You dont feel good about it, you feel cheated, singled out for being ‘fat’ & that makes you unhappy…(well, that is how I used to feel).
